Partner John Mclaughlin has been at the Castle Cary practice for six years. The practice has grown steadily since and has esablished a reputation for professionalism, friendliness and having a fantastic range of products.

John graduated with a BSc Hons in optometry from Aston University (Birmingham). Previously he worked for many years in the NHS as a technician specialising in Glaucoma and retinal disease.

Qualified Dispensing Optician Ruth Hughes is always pleased to give professional advice on all aspects of dispensing. She is particulary keen to have a full range of frames from designer, mid range and budget.

Current designer frames include;

Versace, Maggy Rouff, D&G, Oakley, Bjorn Borg, Face, and Maui Jim.

Receptionists Kath and Jenny complete the team and are the enthusiastic first contact with our customers.
