What you need to know about ordering contact lenses online

For us to supply you with contact lenses we have, by law, to have a copy of your Contact Lens Specification, which will have been given to you by your optician. This will contain;

1. The details of your contact lenses
2. The date the specification is valid from
3. The date the specification is valid to
4. The prescribing opticians name and GOC registration number.

This can be faxed to us on 01747 852 794 or scanned on and emailed to shop@frithsopticians.co.uk. or, of course, posted to:

Once we have seen this document you can order lenses freely through our online shop provided the supply falls within the end date of the specification when you will need to visit your optician for a further aftercare appointment and specification renewal.

Alternatively you can contact your optician and give them permission to give us the information. We will then telephone them and verify the information direct. They need your permission to comply with the data protection act.
