Jan Goad, managing partner at Blandford practice said today that a fire in the towns electrical infrastructure under the street 
outside the practice has meant that the premises have had to close for the day due to no electricity and the attendant works to remedy the situation. "Whilst no damage has been caused to the practice the fumes from the fire need to clear and the electics need to be re-conected before we can open to the public" said Jan "I apologise for any inconvenience caused to our patients and assure them that we will re-open for business as usual tomorrow".
Patients who have had their appointments cancelled will be re-booked as soon as possible.
