Dispensing Opticians Amanda and Gemma are always pleased to give professional advice on all aspects of dispensing. They are particularly keen to have a full range of frames from designer, mid-range and budget. Receptionists Liz, Jenny and Lydia complete the team and are the enthusiastic first contact with our customers.

Partner John McLaughlin has been at the Castle Cary practice since 2003. The practice has grown steadily since and has established a reputation for professionalism, friendliness and having a fabulous range of frames, lenses and associated products.
John has a degree in Health Sciences which he gained from Coventry University, as well as a BSc Hons degree in Ophthalmic Optics from Aston University, Birmingham. He has also obtained the post graduate qualification Professional Certificate Glaucoma (Cardiff University)
Previously he worked as a Senior Glaucoma and Retina technician in an NHS hospital.
John does specialist visual field examinations for Yeovil Hospital and the DVLA.
