Kelly Lucas graduated from Aston University in 1996 and then underwent a pre-registration position at the Frith's Shaftesbury practice under Robert Frith's supervision. He then transferred to the Gillingham practice in 1998, becoming the senior partner in the practice where he has remained ever since, the longest serving current Frith Optometrist!
Kelly has transformed Gillingham into the modern successful practice which it is today.
He has also been involved in training pre-registration optometrists, some of which have become successful partners in other Frith practices.
He has a unique friendly personality attracting such a loyal client base, some of whom can remember him as a fresh faced graduate!

Nikki started working for Robert Frith Optometrists in Shaftesbury in 2013, training for three years with ABDO college earning her Fellowship Diploma and qualifying as a Dispensing Optician in 2016. After spending over five years there, she transferred to the Gillingham practice in 2018. In 2021 she took on the role of practice manager.

Gemma has worked in Optics for around 20 years in various Opticians around Somerset, Bristol and Dorset. Gemma qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 2007 whilst working at our Yeovil practice. After Managing large and small independent practices around Bristol for 7 years she returned to Somerset and became a Locum Dispensing Optician working for several practices of the Robert Frith group. She is now back as an employed member of the team at our Castle Cary and Gillingham practices, as a Dispensing Optician.
