Low Visual Aids

Low vision describes when an individual’s eyesight is unable to be corrected by either:

  • Regular glasses
  • Contact lenses
  • Medicine/Surgery

This can be as a result of health conditions such as macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetes or glaucoma or as a result of impairment of the eye from a birth defect or injury.

We understand that in these instances many people spend time worrying how they will cope with everyday tasks and maintain their independence. This doesn’t need to be the case. At Friths we take time to ensure the aids we advise you on fully support you to maintain your independence when both reading and writing and when out and about.

Maintain your independence today with low visual aids.
